about
This new song of mine has some cool elements in it, It has some acoustic guitar, spoken word verses, distorted cowboy chords ala Neil Young for the choruses. Syncopated guitar riff ala Keef Riff-hard. First guitar solo with a Knopfler influence and the second guitar solo a shreddy tapped out throwback to the 80's, ending with a vocal and acoustic guitar for a nod to folk music.
lyrics
Living The Dream
Living the dream chasing the sun
Breaking free we've only begun
Through the storm we'll find our way
Living the dream day by day.
In the dead of night close my eyes
Dream of a life beyond the skies
A world where troubles fade away
And every dawn brings a better day.
Living the dream chasing the sun
Breaking free we've only begun
Through the storm we'll find our way
Living the dream day by day.
On winding roads found my way
Facing fears that tried to stay
Everytime I took a fall
I rise again standing tall.
Living the dream chasing the sun
Breaking free we've only begun
Through the storm we'll find our way
Living the dream day by day.
So raise your voice join the song
In out hearts the dream lives on
With every breath we'll take the day
Living the dream what do ya say.
Living the dream chasing the sun
Breaking free we've only begun
Through the storm we'll find our way
Living the dream day by day.
